La Crosse Distilling Co. is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve collaboration dinner with our chefs Matthew Brown and James Foreman, featuring Chef Patrick Micheels of Schuby’s Neighborhood Butcher.
Originally from a small town in Nebraska, Patrick Micheels’ appreciation for fresh ingredients and culinary arts started when he was young – he spent most of his time in the garden and hunting with his family. Micheels studied culinary science at the Institute for the Culinary Arts in Omaha turning his passion into a career. While working in many Omaha restaurants, gaining experience in French cuisine, Mexican fare and fine dining steakhouses, Patrick fell in love with the craft of making pasta. Micheels recently moved to La Crosse, WI and is the Executive Chef of Schuby’s Neighborhood Butcher focusing on quality regional meat selections, cheese, dry-aged meats and of course, the freshest house-made pastas.
