Due to the heavy ice storms and snow fall this winter, the hoop house at State Road Elementary has collapsed and is in need of big repairs. Luckily, there has been many wonderful volunteers to help take down the broken structure, but now funding and workforce aide are needed to help move this project forward!
When you dine at the La Crosse Distilling Co. April 29th, 10% of sales will be donated to the project and take State Road Elementary closer to restoring this outdoor classroom for their students. The hoop house serves to lengthen the growing season for their teaching garden as well as a protected outdoor classroom to increase frequency of classes learning outdoors!
