ABOUT OUR APPLE BRANDY:
In collaboration with Hoch Orchard and Gardens in La Crescent, MN, a biodynamic organic farm set high above the Driftless Region’s bluff country of the Mississippi River Valley, we present to you this limited edition apple brandy. The Hochs pressed several varietals of apples from their 2018 harvest, fermented the juice on the farm and delivered an exemplary cider to the distillery. We double-distilled the cider and aged it for nearly two years in used bourbon barrels to create this Farmer Forward and Driftless Pure apple brandy.
To further collaborate and mark this momentous occasion, La Crosse Distilling Co. will be passing along their used apple brandy barrels to 608 Brewing Company who will be using them to release a limited edition barrel-aged beer later this year.
